We've received official notification from our hardware supplier: the global memory and SSD component shortage has reached critical levels, forcing significant price increases across the industry.
What's Happening?
According to Phison's CEO (a leading SSD controller manufacturer), NAND flash memory prices have doubled in the last 6 months, with shortages expected to continue for years. Major retailers in Japan are already rationing PC memory kit purchases due to supply constraints.
Our supplier has adjusted pricing to reflect this market reality:
- Validator hardware: +28.57%
- Node hardware: +7.94%
Dorsium's Response: We're Protecting Early Supporters
Despite these supplier increases, all Dorsium hardware remains available at current prices until December 31, 2025. This is our guarantee to the community.
Starting January 1, 2026, we'll have no choice but to adjust to the new market reality. But anyone who orders before the end of this year locks in today's pricing.
Why This Is Happening
The shortage isn't temporary. Industry experts cite multiple factors:
